A whole haul of Christmas treats this year. First of all: the above video, which actually made me laugh out loud when the double kick drums started.
Secondly, I received Stephen Grasso’s outstanding ‘A Voodoo Christmas in South Norwood’ mix CD in the post yesterday. He’s been posting the tracks one by one on his blog, Clean Living In Difficult Circumstances, which should allow any enterprising fan of tenuously Voodoo-related Christmas music to put together their own version of the mix (thoroughly recommended, it made our last minute tidying of the flat before the relatives visit much more enjoyable).
Lastly, Ghostface Killah had a new one out this week (didn’t expect it, should have been paying attention). A lovely reminder of this seasonal greeting I received via email from a friend around five years years ago, which made me feel as though all my birthdays and Christmasses had come at once.
