VILDE&INGA
Vilde Sandve Alnæs (violin) and Inga Margrete Aas (double bass) play timbrally intricate, harmonically rich free improvisation with strong a strong yet implied compositional foundation carried across from their classical training. Hailing from Norway, they released their first album – Makrofauna – on ECM in 2014.

AN UNNECESSARILY JUSTIFIED WITH
(Himë Bangs / DJ Sarah Wilson / widow of Twocsinak)

The latest alias of the many-monikered Josie Grounds, An Unnecessarily Justified With walks a mile in horseshoes, combining discursive Jackanorytelling with wonkily corralled contributions from Bristol’s finest and freest. Grounds’ identity parade includes DJ Sarah Wilson, Twocsinak and, more recently, Himë Bangs.

SETH COOKE
Cooke has spent several years wringing every last possibility from a single, ubiquitous entry level audio recorder, finding applications in non-performative cymbal resonance or plumbing the depths of its noise floor via no-input field recording. At Bang the Bore he will use it to perform a set of pure electronic feedback.
