Is an electro-acoustic trio. Their on-going series, Scattered Voices, uses sounds collected on location as source material for electronic improvisations. Each part focuses on a different site that is striking both sonically and visually. So far these have included a desolate beach on the south coast, a scrapyard near Liverpool and the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall in Wales.
Henry Collins and Robin Foster make improvised music. Their approach ranges from sensitive to absurdist, from carefully considered minimalism to barely contained chaos. Their music is largely unplanned, and encompasses the use of found objects, vocal improvisation, spoken word, field recording and physical performance.
A cellist who spends much of her time playing her instrument in any way possible to explore, extract and prize out hidden depths of sound possibilities.
