Help Boduf Songs finance a European tour

For years, ex-pat Southamptoner turned Chicago resident Mat Sweet’s Boduf Songs project project was a ray of light in the otherwise dreary Highfield/Swaythling/Portswood area of Bang the Bore’s hometown. The house he shared with Clive acted as the Hunting Lodge equipment lock-up; we used to frequently intrude upon him before shows. On one occasion I disturbed him halfway through making the above video… Sweet can be credited with igniting Southampton’s dubious ongoing obsession with Bleach, as well as a less dubious obsession with William Basinski. His morose, bleary-eyed brand of industriousness was an inspiration to us all. Plus, you know… his music is very good indeed.

For all these things, we owe him a lot. Please join Bang the Bore in paying him back. Have a peek at the above video and the widget below, and if you like the tunes then please help him tour.
