Termite Club #2: Shepherds of Cats + War Lass + Foldhead

The wonderful friendly Fenton will be host to the Polish improv group SHEPHERDS OF CATS. Catch them mid-way through their tour! Enjoy their set! It will sandwich a short burst from local ‘noise-nudist’ Panelak (Pascal Ansell). https://soundcloud.com/shepherds-of-cats/shepherds-of-cats-and-panelak-muscle-atrophy-in-squirrels-left-leg
WAR LASS and FOLDHEAD are two local acts recently contacted with a perverse proposal, so we will see what they will do.
Update: Foldhead has agreed to the proposal. Please read:
WAR LASS: Project of local underground botherer Daniel Skevington. Mesmeric, swirling and perfectly toned wheeze-stomp tunes. He will do a solo synth set this time, performing the unforgettable feat of one bearded man rockin out with little more than humble sine waves and a head stomping. He will love to rock for you!
FOLDHEAD: Pure electronics and gleeful static. — wait! You might expect blisteringly loud cosmic noise and radio gush. But no, Paul Walsh will go one step further with his marvellous solo project… by performing an _ _ _ _ _ __ – – – -__ -_- set (ooo mystery!).
Maciek Piatek (vj) will also provide live projections:

£5.00 entry (though no-one will be turned away due to lack of funds, please come if you would like to).

Shepherds of Cats and Panelak are also performing the following July dates:
Sat 4th: Bradford – Fuse Art Space
Sun 5th: Halifax – Arden Road Social Club
Mon 6th: Manchester – Islington Mill
    Weds 8th: Liverpool – venue t.b.c.
Thurs 9th: London – Cafe Oto Project Space
Shepherds and Panelak have a tape out on Tombed Vision Records:

And a final note about the wonderful Fenton and it’s relatively new management: Beer lovers will be pleased with the decent selection, including Belgian brews and a very reasonably priced local one at £2.00 a pint. Tea is £1.00 and served with warmth and gentle charm.

Howdy, Stranger!
